Under the Global Alliance to End Violence Against Women - signed by Vital Voices Global Partnership and Avon Foundation in Washington this year, be presented in Buenos Aires the documentary play "Seven" ( Seven ) . The presentation, the first held in Latin America will take place in a single function, on Monday November 15 at the historic theater on May 25, in Villa Urquiza.
Seven is a powerful documentary play based on the lives of a remarkable group of women leaders from around the world. Seven renowned writers worked together to create texts based on interviews personal with seven women in the Vital Voices Global Network, which overcame huge odds to achieve fundamental reforms in their countries.
Directed by Teresa Costantini , will start performances Hilda Bernard, Graciela Dufau, Verónica Llinás, Carola Reyna, Muriel Santa Ana, Maria Silvana Socas and support. The lives of these women provide a portal through which the audience can experience the diversity of cultures and appreciate at the same time the essential courage with which these individual women went through seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their path toward justice, freedom and equality.
Following the work will take place a panel will share their experience Susana Trimarco , representing an Argentine case similar to women in the work. Trimarco became a prominent activist in the fight against human trafficking after the disappearance of her daughter Marita Veron, 23, on April 3, 2002.
