Gracias a su destacada labor en posicionamiento y desarrollo de la oferta turística, Tigre fue el destino elegido por un grupo de empresarios turísticos chilenos que visitaron Buenos Aires, en una gira organizada por el Centro Internacional de Estudios Turísticos de Chile y el SERNATUR (Servicio Nacional de Turismo de Chile).
